Audience Consideration
Chris T-T, A friend and ex-colleague, recently spoke at the TEDx in Brighton and as always his charming, interesting and entertaining blend of heart, brains and music brings audience awareness to the forefront of the creative process in this 20 minute show.
Punk rocker, Chris T-T had never considered the age-appropriate nature of his music before; until he realised that his core audience had grown up and were having children. They could no longer put on his ‘Parental Advisory’ music in their homes. Chris sought to explore the potential of his music for people of different ages, and what he discovered changed his entire creative process.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
