‘Back-In’ China

‘Back-In’ China

Chinese financial markets might be facing a ‘correction’ but China is still the world’s second largest economy and accounts for sales of UK goods to the People’s Republic of over £14 billion.

Oxford Economics predicts that Chinese economic growth will slow to 5.3% in 2020 and warns that a hard landing would see growth average at just 4%.

Slightly more upbeat is Martin Sorrell at WPP the world’s largest marketing services group who remains an “unabashed bull” about China’s prospects despite the stock market crisis, Apple say that demand for iPhone continues to grow in China and Boeing are expecting to sell over six thousand aircraft there over the next twenty years.

LAW Creative directors Keith and Brett Sammels are also upbeat. The agency specialises in two areas says Keith Sammels Executive Creative Director at LAW. One is leisure & hotels and the other is automotive aftermarket. Both areas have massive potential for growth in the Asia Pacific region.

LAW Creative plans a Shanghai office opening in December 2015 and in the meantime is working on China projects from its London offices and via local LAW Creative support in Shanghai.
