Winning industry awards is a fairly euphoric experience, often resulting in a little chest-beating. And why not? To win credible and industry-recognised awards you have to prove the business success of your work, often against the toughest of competition. When we tell people of the awards we win as an agency, it isn’t merely to show-off.

Rather, it’s to say, ‘We are an agency that takes our clients’ objectives extremely seriously, ensuring we deliver robust strategy, effective creative and marketing that incites action’. And when we help win an award or two on the back of this hard work, we view this as further evidence of success.

I’m therefore proud to announce two exciting award wins for LAW Creative last week – because this is testament to our care and delivery of successful campaigns alongside our client Butlins.

As you likely know, Butlins is a traditional leisure destination, helping hard-working people enjoy their all-important free-time together.

Our job was to help Butlins take their unique offering to a business audience, positioning their resorts as the perfect place for a large corporate meeting or event.

The fully-integrated campaign consisting of website, trade press, social and direct marketing delivered robust results, from a 200% increase in year-on-year enquiries to a near 30% increase in its overall meetings and events business.

The carefully crafted creative, pin-sharp strategy and results generated were submitted against some pretty hardy competition at the industry’s highly recognised Meetings Industry Marketing Awards (MIMA), and went on to scoop the gold award for best brand marketing campaign and the silver award for best brochure. I know that our client is very happy with the results. And we are too, because as mentioned earlier, this is proof that we are fulfilling our role as dedicated agency partner that ultimately cares about the success of our clients.
