In the midst of the Six Nations another battle took place at Twickenham Stadium on Friday 12th February when some of the largest automotive aftermarket brands came together to compete for the coveted CAT Magazine Awards.

Car & Accessory Trader (CAT) is the leading business magazine aimed at the UK automotive aftermarket and through readers’ votes Brake Engineering was nominated and subsequently earned an award.

Brake Engineering was awarded ‘Supplier of the Year’, one of the most respected awards in the industry and a lot of its success was attributed to the ‘Original Aftermarket’ campaign. Brake Engineering and LAW Creative built the idea of the ‘Original Aftermarket’ campaign on trying to bring transparency, clarity and quality to an overly complex product sector and the campaign has been a resounding success.

Brake Engineering’s Mark Field said, ‘LAW were instrumental in visualising our Original Aftermarket campaign and bringing it to fruition. The campaign aimed to improve the trade’s awareness of the braking sector and increase distributor sales of Brake Engineering’s complete product range of calipers, discs, drums, hydraulics, pads and shoes.  The campaign has proven successful in highlighting to the trade – through high-profile press adverts and exhibition stands – the products and services available from the company and the quality that goes into them.’

The ‘Original Aftermarket’ launch in October 2015 included Trade Press, Online banners, Exhibition stands and a fully comprehensive marketing suite to effectively display the Brake Engineering range.
