We’re delighted to announce that we have won the European Excellence Award 2016 for our relaunch of the TRW Automotive Aftermarket website.
The European Excellence Awards celebrate the most outstanding achievements of communications professionals in their field and winning their Best Website award is something we’re extremely proud of, because the award is judged not only on creativity, innovation, strategy and implementation but also on results.
Our redesign of the TRW Automotive Aftermarket website aimed to make it faster and easier to search 40,000 products across devices by making the site future ready, with an easy to navigate interface, optimisation for mobiles and expert advice on every page. The results speak for themselves. User-friendly filter functions, news, video and ‘how to’ guides in 15 languages have seen worldwide sessions rise by 55.5%, with new users up 40.68%. Integrated catalogue searches are up +130% equalling +€9M; visits to the website are up 90% against Industry Benchmark; referrals have increased by 189%; returning visitors are up 70% (to 639,160) and the average time on each page is up by 60%, proving the quality of the enhanced content.
Up against campaigns from other big brands the likes of BMW and Bosch, we had some tough competition so we’re very happy indeed that we’ve triumphed at this year’s European Excellence Awards to be recognised as one of the very best marketers in Europe.
