Last year we were delighted to win a strategic and creative project to help Butlins successfully target a business audience. Butlins has a clear leisure proposition in the UK market, and to redefine their well-known brand to a business audience took careful planning, intelligent strategy, tactical audience segmentation, arresting creative and lots of hard work!
I am pleased to say it has all paid dividends. Following a strategic re-brand, our client says ‘the campaign has been highly successful and the key contributing factor in driving the highest level of enquiries in what is the best year to date for the business’. Within its first five weeks of launch a 200% increase in year on year enquiries was reported – including the largest contract to date. It seems the fully integrated campaign has been a resounding accomplishment.
Consisting of direct mail, press advertising, web, email and display advertising, the re-brand and campaign has ensured Butlins is now on target to achieve a near 30% increase in its meetings and events business. At LAW we are delighted that we have helped our client achieve such commercial successes. Campaign newsletters have resulted in open and click rates of double the industry average.
