Shooting at the Top of the Town

Recently I was lucky enough to shoot from one of the best vantage points in Central London. A camera operator and I climbed to the very top of the luxurious; five star Royal Horseguards Hotel* near to Westminster on London’s South Bank and shot with a Red Epic camera for about 6 hours in the scorching British sunshine.

Yes there was a fleeting moment of summer!

In the midst of the 2012 London Olympics the atmosphere was electric and London never looked better from its lofty rooftops amongst the rising cheers from the Beach Volleyball competitions just below us.

We walked away from some fantastic footage, which we’d shot specifically for Guoman Hotels.

This short clip (shot on our B cam) gives you only a flavour of the day but pales into insignificance in comparison to what we shot on the RED Epic (which you will see right here very soon).
