What a song and dance
by
I was floored by the production ‘Matilda’ last week. Not usually a fan of musicals, I trooped to Covent Garden slightly sceptical, but all doubts were put aside as soon as I took to my seat. The walls of the stage were stuffed with giant block letters and oversized books, which came alive throughout the spectacle with the fabulous children dancing and singing their hearts out. A delight from start to finish, I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone (even all you anti-musical peeps out there). And Bertie Carvel as the infamous Miss Trunchbull is a sight not to be missed…
